Cubes Rule

Engines are air pumps and there is no replacement for displacement regardless of what any tuner might want to claim. Knowing this, Ken opted for a Pro Line Racing 481X which can handle up to 5,000 horses under the hood. All this is means the car is capable of passes in the low 4-second range. Serious stuff.

Bump Up

... In class that is. Previously running in the Outlaw 632 class (and dominating it might be added) Quartuccio decided to take the fight to a class called “Radial vs The World Outlaw 10.5” which sees faster passes and presumably more prize money. This Vette is the perfect weapon for the job if his previous record is anything to go off.

Two Speed All You Need

Those uninitiated to the drag racing scene might be shocked to find out that the transmission in this car is a two speed. It’s a neat trick you can get away with when you make this kind of horsepower and can take advantage of gearing due to torque. This Corvette rips so hard off the line that at just over 1 second it pulls 3g of acceleration. Insane.
