Million-Dollar C7 Race Car

It's not every day we see a factory racing car being sold off to the public, let alone a C7.R Corvette. But that's exactly what we have here. This particular C7.R has been part of the Pratt & Miller racing team. And now that the seventh-generation Corvette's time has passed, this marvel of motorsport technology has been put on sale for $950,000.

Prestigious Legacy

Yes that sounds like a lot of money for what looks like a tricked-out C7 Corvette. But taking into considering nothing other than this thing's capability on the track, a million dollars starts to sound reasonable for what's on offer. This is more than just an extremely fast C7, however. It also comes with a prestigious list of race wins to its name.

Race-Winner

The C7.R competed in various races in 2014 and 2015, and came away with silverware. The team took the win at the 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona as well as the 2015 Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring in this Corvette. They also took part in the legendary 24 Hours of LeMans that year, and raced on many famous race tracks across the United States.

Pure Machinery

To the untrained eye, this won't look like anything more than a C7 Corvette with some body work. But in reality, there are numerous differences between the race car chassis and the street car. For instance, the roofline is about 3 inches lower and the body is 7 inches wider.

Raw Power

On the inside, all you will see is a single racing bucket seat, the necessary driver controls, and a full roll cage. Under the hood, you will find a de-bored LS7 V8 motor. The motor has been reduced from 7.0 liters to 5.5 liters to adhere to the regulations. And it is capable of over 500 horsepower with ease.

Enticing Opportunity

For a Corvette enthusiast or motorsports fan with a million dollars burning a whole in their wallet, this C7.R could be the ultimate brag-worthy purchase. Just imagine the amazing fun that can be had in this thing on race tracks across the globe. Click here to check out the full listing of this Pratt & Miller C7.R for sale.
