RSC Introduces Sweet New Carbon Fiber C8 Side Skirts
The burgeoning C8 Corvette aftermarket continues to grow with this latest offering.
Going Wingless
Over the last couple of years, we've seen a mind-boggling number of new C8 parts emerge in the aftermarket. This includes a huge variety of body kits, and at this point, it's safe to say that new Corvette owners have plenty of choices in that regard. Racing Sport Concepts was one of the first to introduce a C8 body kit inspired by exotic machines like those made by Lamborghini, and now, it's back with a new set of "wingless" carbon fiber side skirts.

Seamless Design
Priced at $2,495, RSC's new C8 side skirts are certainly unique thanks to their more integrated, seamless look. While most side skirts opt to retain the car's side "wings," these parts do away with that feature for a cleaner look that's sure to resonate with a few folks.

Easy Install
RSC masterfully crafts its side skirts by hand from carbon fiber, so they're obviously of the highest quality. That also means that the parts will fit perfectly, and they're easy to install as well. The skirts attach directly to the OEM rocker panels with no modifications needed, in fact.

Using What's There
This is possible because of the additional 3M double-sided tape and the use of existing factory hardware, which is convenient. After all, many body parts out there on the aftermarket require drilling or other modifications to install, which isn't an ideal solution.

Pricey Quality
RSC designed its C8 body parts to give the car more of a grand tourer look, particularly when they're all paired together on one vehicle. Of course, opting for the entire catalog will cost you over $12,000, but that's not terribly surprising given RSC's reputation for making quality body parts for some seriously expensive vehicles.

Unique Offering
RSC's C8 side skirts are the only ones on the market currently that eliminate the factory flaps, so they're certainly unique in that regard. And for folks that aren't a fan of that little slice of GM design, that's sure to make them an appealing choice.
