1957 Cascade Blue Corvette

With Easter right around the corner, now's a fine time to look at some of unusual and eye-catching, but always friendly, Easter colors that have been used to decorate the Chevy Corvettes. This 1957 Corvette comes with an attractive shade called cascade blue. With a whitish beige interior within the painted exterior, this Corvette is more similar to a painted Easter egg than any car has right to be.

2015 Velocity Yellow Corvette Z06

Of the ten exterior colors Chevrolet offered for the 2015 incarnation, Velocity Yellow is easily the sunniest and welcoming. If you added some decorative stripes and squinted hard enough, this ground bound rocket might look like a highway cruising Easter egg. Keyword being "might".

1958 Panama Yellow Corvette

Panama Yellow is the sort of pastel hue that has all but fallen out of favor in modern automaking. While it might look a bit strange on the performance cars of today, the mild shade of this '58 C2 Corvette is quite attractive. This is exactly the kind of shade to suit an Easter parade.

2013 Light Blue Forgiato Corvette

Shifting things back to the modern era, the cheery shade of blue on this Forgiato customized wide-body C7 model belies its ferocity on the road. Custom vehicles are already more interesting to look at than their standard counterparts, but this color makes it jump out at you even more. Although Easter almost certainly wasn't on the mind of the designer who chose the color for this particular Corvette, the choice does make it pretty applicable. In addition, the like-colored rims are a pleasing detail.

2009 Bright Green Geiger Corvette

Here's another custom-modded Chevrolet monster, this time from the German tuner company Geiger. The bright green hue they picked for this specific car-- which they called "Wild Thing" -- would jump out in a sea of hundreds of cars. Most impressively, Geiger reportedly amplified the car's performance with a couple of turbos until it was able to put out almost 900 horsepower. While this certainly attests to the talent behind the Geiger name, it also goes to show what a strong foundation Chevrolet designed for them to build on.

1961 Jewel Blue Corvette

Although it is impossible to ignore the performance of the later incarnations, there's a combination of nostalgia and aesthetic pleasure that perpetually draw us back to the old classics. This Jewel Blue '61 model has one of the nicest shades of blue around. Although there aren't many soft top Easter eggs around, the color for this one is matched to a tee.

1998 Pink Ice Corvette

The distinctive (dare we say unique?) color on this 1998 Corvette was a custom ordered job, owned by a married couple. Although this Pink Ice hue is most certainly a love-or-hate kind of deal, especially coming from the standpoint of performance car fans, there is no denying how perfect pastel pink goes with your Easter outfit.

2012 Carlisle Blue Corvette

Surprisingly, this shade of Carlisle Blue was another matter of contention amid fans of the Corvette of this era. Carlisle Blue Corvettes are quite notable for the fact that they were only produced by the factory in 2012. This brief production life has given the existing Carlisle Blue models something of a special aura of rarity.

1954 Pennant Blue Corvette

As part of our Easter celebration, we're taking things right back to the beginning. This attractive Pennant Blue Corvette is part of the first few years of the C1 generation, where things really began for the Corvette. It is still amazing the way Corvettes, in particular, have been able to constantly update with the ever-changing aesthetic standards, yet still remain to a degree timeless.

1958 Silver Blue Corvette

This 1958 Silver Blue Corvette, is an utter joy to behold in this color that you don't see often. We found it on a "For Sale" posting, by which point it had been quickly sold to a vintage enthusiast. This one has been properly restored, hence its perfect appearance. As value and interest in these old 'Vettes continue to rise with time, it always makes sense to give them the TLC they need.

Whether you celebrate Easter or not, this weekend promises to be one of the first warm days of 2019 which are perfect for driving a Corvette. So go have fun.
