2. The Corvette

The star of this video is a 1985 Chevrolet Corvette, which is a part of the C4 generation. The C4 Corvettes have been known to be quite inexpensive, which encourage people to do fun things like this. The '85 Vette came equipped with a V-8 5.7-liter engine, which delivered 230-horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque.

3. The Inspiration

Dwayne, the driver of this C4 Corvette, shared the inspiration behind his Youtube channel and the crazy task he's making his 1985 Corvette do. He says that his inspiration is a Youtube channel called Roadkill, which stars David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan; two automotive enthusiasts that love experimenting with all types of hot rods.

4. Modifications

The modification on this Corvette is unlike anything you've ever seen, and instead of adding performance parts or exterior upgrades, this Corvette received a major weight reduction, which happened by stripping it down; in other words, this C4 received reversed modifications. The weight reduction process included removing the bumpers, the hood, the doors, the roof, the trunk, along with numerous little parts.

5. Future Plans

As if the Corvette isn't lightweight enough, Dwayne plans on stripping it down to the roll-cage. But that's not it, in addition to the further weight reduction, he also plans on adding more power to it and taking it to all types of courses, like road tracks, drag strips, sand dunes, and "anywhere they'll let me run it," he quotes. These Corvettes can be purchased from $5,000 to $7,000, and after that, your imagination is the limit.
