Reuss Re-cap

Let’s start with the original reason for this post and what happened. Apparently, Mark drives this track all the time and was caught out by a particularly bumpy section that is notorious for spitting people off. These things happen to the best of us, though not always on national television. We feel your pain, Mr. Reuss!

Seriously Lucky

This is one clip that will have you on your seat until the very end. An angry pack of Corvettes is running through the esses at Waterford Hills when someone ahead in the pack loses it. The trailing car’s point-of-view shows a safe, smart effort to move to the side of the track until the driver hits the grass. Sliding straight into each other these guys somehow get away with nothing more than a fender to fender high five.

Full Handed

7.2 liters is enough to move just about anything including a 1969 Camaro. Jody O’Donnell finds himself very full handed behind the wheel of this Corvette that seemingly wants to pull his head off. And, at 3:42 it almost does. Under braking, it goes into a wild slide that tosses and turns the car into the gravel traps. Talk about a car that bucks back!

Why can’t we all get along?

Imagine duking it out for the entire duration of a race weekend only to have everything come down to the last turn on the last lap. Just when everything is wrapped up and in the bag, a pesky 911 pushed you up to the wall and pit maneuvers you just feet before the finish line. What you end up with is a majorly painful highlight reel

Tank Slapping C5

Slow motion makes everything cooler when it comes to mishaps at the track. In this Oscar-worthy edit, a C5 owner learns the definition of knowing when to call it quits. Once you find yourself in a tank slapper your best bet is to brake until coming to a complete stop. The chances of saving this one were as close to none once he went onto the grass! Tough break!

Don’t be Stupid!

Be safe, always stay smart and know your limits on the track as well as the street. If you’re unsure about something ask questions to those around you and reach out for coaching advice. Many accidents can be avoided with proper vehicle maintenance, driver knowledge and an open mind to learning. Be safe!
