Mismatched Set

Throughout the course of history, many have done some pretty crazy things to cars in an effort to stand out. This C8 Corvette - created by the folks at wheel maker Aerolarri - isn't what anyone would call crazy, of course, but it is certainly unique, thanks to the fact that it has a different wheel design on each side. And it isn't just for show - consumers can actually buy these mismatched wheels for their own C8.

Unique Offering

Aerolarri wanted to do something a little bit different to stand out from the countless other C8 wheel offerings out there in the world, and suffice to say, they've accomplished that mission. Anyone can buy two sets of wheels to put on a car, but as far as we know, this is the only mismatched set currently available, and you won't wind up with an extra set this way.

Perfect Fit

Customers can actually choose between a few different wheel designs to suit their preference, as well as different color options and size/diameter. As far as fitment goes, Aerolarri says that they've already selected the perfect specs for the C8, and that's pretty evident by how nicely the wheels fit this particular Corvette.

Limited Edition

While those that buy aftermarket wheels often do so to make their cars stand out, there's always that chance that a particular wheel will become popular and rain on that proverbial parade. However, that won't be the case with these mismatched wheels, because Aerolarri is only making 299 examples of each. Each center cap is engraved with that wheel's individual number, too.

Pricing and Sizing

Aerolarri's mismatched wheels are priced at $2,888 for a set of four, which is pretty reasonable for forged wheels. Each set is sized at 20×9.5 inches in the front and 21×12.5 in the rear, and this particular C8 is rolling on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Buyers can also add two-piece wheels for an extra $999 each.

Waiting Game

Aerolarri actually builds these wheels to order, which means it does take a little time to get them - around 7 or so weeks, at a minimum. But there are a ton of options available, and one thing's for sure - you're bound to be one of the only, if not the only person in your town with a C8 rolling on mismatched wheels, and for some folks, that means something.
