Lingenfelter is a household name among Chevy performance enthusiasts. They've been building go-fast goodies for Corvettes for decades, and this 1995 Corvette ZR1 is a great example of their handy work. This low-mile beauty sold on Bring A Trailer yesterday for $58,000. And considering the shape it's in, we'd say that's a steal for the type of experience this C4 can give you.

The Story Begins
This fourth-generation Corvette ZR1 is a time capsule, displaying the amazing capabilities of the Lingenfelter brand all those years ago. The car was kept in stock form for a few short years before Lingenfelter Performance Engineering was commissioned to perform the modifications you see in these photos in the summer of 1997.

The Aerobody Kit
The first obvious giveaway of Lingenfelter's touches on this C4 is the body work. The LPE Aerobody kit gives this 'Vette a distinct look. A redesigned front fascia, hood, rear fascia, and vents in the fenders and quarter panels. And those 17-inch wheels make for a perfect stance and a modern look. Way ahead of their time back in '97.

Barely Driven
LPE also equipped the car with upgraded brakes and a custom quad-exhaust system. And perhaps the best thing about this amazing machine is the fact that it has only been driven a total of 4,400 miles. So the new owner will have a practically new toy to enjoy for years to come.
