Pricey Upgrade

Widebody vehicles are one of those things in life that people either love or hate, and there isn't much in-between. The look is incredibly popular among the JDM set, but quickly worked its way into the C8 Corvette market, thanks to its already-exotic looks. Those that do appreciate the look will likely find Sigala Design's 32-piece C8RR widebody kit to be rather enticing, though it most certainly isn't cheap.

Ramped Up

On its own, the C8RR kit costs a whopping $14,995 in fiberglass or $24,995 for the full carbon fiber kit. But buying full turn-key car ramps that price up significantly, it seems. We know this because Sigala was asking an insane $185k for this finished product over via a listing over in the C8 Corvette Facebook group.

Lofty Levels

That price obviously seems rather high, but then again, used C8 prices are through the roof these days, and that doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon. Regardless, it's still a ton of coin for a newer Corvette, particularly when one can buy two and some mods for the price of this one.

Comprehensive Kit

Sigala's 32-piece kit is certainly polarizing, and the listing has garnered its fair share of hate, as one might expect. But it's a comprehensive kit, at least, and consists of a hood, front bumper extensions, front splitter, splitter extensions, fenders, side skirt, and side splitter extensions, quarter panels, a rear diffuser, rear bumper extensions, rear winglets, a giant rear wing, "afterburners," quarter panel moldings, and an RR roof.

Other Upgrades

On top of that, it's worth noting that this isn't just a regular C8 with the C8RR body kit - there are more pricey upgrades present here, including a set of 20x11 front and 20x12 rear forged aluminum wheels wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tires, a Sigala Designs stainless steel exhaust system, and adjustable coilovers to help ramp up the price.

Hard to Justify

This particular car has 8,100 miles on the clock, which isn't a ton, but the lofty asking price still seems like a pie in the sky sort of proposition. After all, even adding up the cost of everything here including labor, we're having a hard time justifying the $185k price tag.

Gone Quickly

Clearly, that didn't matter, as Sigala says that the car quickly sold for $180k, which is a bit of a surprise. Then again, as wild as the market has become over the past couple of years, nothing really surprises us anymore.
