Would You Put a Bodykit on Your New C8?
Unlike a lot of those pie-in-the-sky C8 widebody renderings out there, this one's actually going to get built.
Headed to Production
With 2020 Corvettes hitting the streets, we're already seeing some modifications popping up. And you can bet that there will be many, many more where those came from. That includes a slew of wide body kits, of which we've already seen a number of renderings. But this particular design, dreamed up by automotive artist Jon Sibal, looks like it's actually going to get built.

Number of Projects
This particular kit was designed for YouTuber TJ Hunt, who owns a white C8 that's already been driven quite a bit. Hunt is also involved in a number of other aspects of the automotive world these days, including a promoter of Street Hunter Designs, which is a company designing and building body kits for cars including the new Toyota Supra.

Well Integrated
This C8 wide body kit will also be produced and sold by the outfit. And what a looker it will be. Sibal drew inspiration from the C8.R racer when designing this kit, and we think it looks great. Unlike a lot of other kits that look like they're simply tacked on, this one integrates with the factory bodywork quite nicely.

More Exotic
It also makes the exotic-looking new Corvette, well, more exotic. And that's going to be something that appeals to a lot of buyers who want their mid-engine machine to look even more expensive than it already is. Clearly, this is a car that can easily pull that off with the right visual changes.

Race Inspired
The extra-wide 'Vette wears a set of HRE wheels that fill up the new fenders quite nicely. With a massive rear wing out back and huge air inlets, it certainly looks like it belongs on a race track. And that's exactly what Hunt, Sibal, and Speed Hunters were going for.

Adding Aggression
At this point, we imagine it won't be long before the first such kit is produced and installed on Hunt's C8. Shortly thereafter, the kit should be available to the public. So if you're looking to make your new Corvette look a bit more aggressive, this certainly looks like a viable way to do so.
