A true American gem is going on the Mecum auction block this month: A Rare Tuxedo Black 1969 Corvette L88 Coupe, one of only 118 produced that year.
A lot of the Corvettes, which include models from 1957 to 2009, are on loan from local owners in the Tupelo area with some of the cars priced at more than $100,000 dollars.
My heart goes out to this guy. Forum member “Fathergill” is looking for this orange 1977 C3 Corvette. This was once his mother’s car. She just passed away, and now Fathergill is trying to locate it.
One of the latest Corvettes to be restored by Johnson, this Stingray features both exterior and interior updates, and an all-new Gen V LT1 crate engine, which the folks at Chevy are making available for $11,000 for the wet sump version and $11,250 for the dry sump.
Thirty-six Corvettes have been left sitting in garages collecting dust, which has been pissing off Corvette fans since 1989. Now it looks like we can all rest a little better knowing that these ‘Vettes are in a better position to find a good home.
