Corvette Forum Member Walks Away Unharmed After C6 Crash

Crashing is one of those situations that we prefer to think will happen to everyone else but ourselves. Sadly, on April 1st (seriously…) one of our forum members had a big one. In this forum post, Corvette Forum member Michael Gordon came into contact with an SUV who had pulled out into traffic without looking. Thankfully, both Gordon and the young lady driving the SUV emerged safely without any injury, just slightly shaken up. The C6 in question was a 2006 model, and considering how quickly the automobile industry moves in the realm of safety, the fact that all systems in the Corvette performed as designed is impressive.

This crash does give a sense of security when driving in our beloved sports car, given that the driver and a passenger both were able to just walk away. Although we’d hate to see another one banged up, it would be interesting to hear from others who may have also had a crash in a Corvette. If you have had a big one, let us know how it happened, and how you fared after the ordeal.
