Things People Hate About Their Corvettes

Over the years, the Corvette has turned into a very competent car. Year after year, we demand improvements, and often they are made. The C7 is but the latest iteration of this. Still, after all those improvements, some things just fall through the cracks. Which allows us to look back a the things that Corvette owners find most annoying about their cars. Take for example this thread, titled “What don’t you like about your corvette?” You’re unlikely to find people complaining about fuel economy, or how much their insurance costs are. Rather, you’ll find some of those little nuances of the Corvette that have been made apparent after the honeymoon of a test drive.

Have you ever needed to put two slightly large cups next to each other in a cup holder? We’re not talking about the 81-liter cups that you fill up at the gas station with off-brand soda; we’re talking about a coffee tumbler or something with a girth just larger than a soda can. Apparently in some Corvettes, it’s a challenge. Winter driving is an obvious obstacle, but storage of a ‘Vette pretty much requires the use of a trickle charger if it is more than 2 weeks at a time. Roof creaks, electric door handles, and more are all covered in the thread. So if you have a ‘Vette and want to gripe about it, this is the place.
