I posted this in the C5 forum because I have a C5, and someone suggested I put it in this forum.

He perhaps could, if I could reach him.
Email link on his site doesn't work, and two phone calls that were never returned.
I don't think so.

Bob.

Sorry Dennis, but he is entirely correct. This contact form is completely broken and doesn't work at all - at least using Google Chrome on a Mac.

http://www.doubledmods.com/contact-us.html

Other platforms or browsers maybe, but I doubt it.

All I can tell you is that when using Google chrome on a mac the uppermost text box cannot be typed in. Clicking it highlights the word specials. The submit button cannot be clicked. Half the right side of the web page overlays the form. I've attached a screen shot so that you can see what we're seeing.

I just tried the DD site: In IE it seems to be fine. Using Chrome with Win 8 the main page is kinda jumbled, but the contact us page looks fine.

Here's a crazy idea.... Since you can see the address on the screen, why not just type it in to a new email

I've never had a problem getting in touch with Dennis. And he is one of a very few businesses left that will actually take the time to talk to you. Whether it be trouble shooting or helping pick the best system for your needs.

Why have a form on the page if it's broken?

Personally, I just call Dennis when I need to talk to him.

The browser didn't cause the issue. A poorly coded web page caused the issue. The browser is standards compliant. The web page was not at the time (though now is). Use a different browser is a 1995 answer.

Blame the website. Chrome is an up to date standards compliant browser. Many websites are not. Many website operators write for and test on only I.E. and mayyyybe Firefox. That's just antiquated and bad practice. Bad code is not the browser's fault.

All that said Dennis fixed his and it is now cross browser compliant. That pretty much fixes the issue here.

FYI
We only use Chrome for browser
however
it was fine our INT Explorer and Chrome and checked on Win 7 and 8....
but

Again
we can not fix any issues for those who have troubles if we do not know..
so all that matters with a few changes and the help from Godaddy its taken care of...
