I recently replaced the factory radio and shift **** in my 03 Z06. I wanted something more modern with a hard drive for mp3. Also, I have never been a big fan of the stock shift ****. I installed the radio myself and it was kind of a pain. Having to add the additional wiring to interface to the Bose system was a bit of work but not horrible. Sounds pretty good. Will probably plan for a sub in the near future to round it out.
