Camera in 3rd brake light?

Can anyone tell me how to install a back up camera in my third brake light? I've seen this mod before on the forum.

This was done on a C5, but similar to a C6 3rd light.
It's too bad that one can't buy a replacement 3rd brake light with a built in camera lens as an option on other high end vehicles.
