I believe 1/43 was the smallest you could buy in this series. Should you you want 1/18 scale, I have the raced and the clean version C5R, and also the Compuware C5R signed by Dale Jr for sale. Price 350.00 plus shipping for all three.

I have found that GMP makes them, or did anyway. But I can't find an online retailer with one for sale.

Still prefer the Earnhardt car but I am also be interested in a Pilgrim or Fellows C5R in 1:64

GMP did make the C5-R in 1/64 scale but, not the Earnhardt C5-R.

The 1/64 offerings from GMP are based on the 2002 season. Both the #3 and #4 C5-R's were made in limited numbers, about 2500 for each car in the individual packaging.

GMP also made a limited edition Corvette Racing Team Transporter in 1/64 scale with (2) C5-R's included, the same ones that were offered in the individual packages. This was also made in limited numbers, again about 2500. The only downside to this package is they gave you (2) #3 cars instead of one of each. Crazy IMO but, it is what it is.

1/43 scale is the smallest I have seen for the Earnhardt C5-R and it is made by Action. I'm not saying a 1/64 scale Earnhardt isn't out there but if it is, it's not offered by a known manufacturer or mass marketed.

The place to watch for the 1/64 scale is Ebay, and watch for it religiously. Sooner or later, one will turn up, they always do.

Hope you find one quickly, good luck

C5R, thanks for the clarification, much appreciated.

I'm now interested in most any 1:64 scale yellow C5R. Willing to pay top dollar and I need it for a project ASAP.

I've done a little digging and apparently a Japanese company called Kyosho released 1/64 scale C5-R's in 2010. Kind of late to the party but there it is. I'm not sure how many they made, how many variants but, after checking on Ebay, there are some available. I've never seen one in person so I can't comment on the quality. However, if your needing a C5-R ASAP, their ready for purchase or bid right now, and they do come in yellow.

The reason why these were off the radar is because Kyosho released these to a Japan "only" market when it was new. With the limited market, it's a good bet that production was low numbers.

Hope this helps, good luck

Thanks again C5R

I see there are currently 3 Kyosho C5Rs on ebay now. One is in Australia and the other two are in Hong Kong.
