Other Forum?
The other forum has a recent posting observing that it seems to be "DOA." Certainly I visit it less because of fewer postings. Also, a factor not mentioned there is that many of its participants seem to have migrated to this forum. While I would not consider that site "DOA," it does seem to suffer from a chronic, wasting disorder of unclear origin, and it seems to be in desperate need of life suport. Can the patient be saved, and if so, what is needed save it?

The "other" forum to which I referred is Z06Vette.com--racing. Until recently, it had a lot of useful information for those of us involved in roadracing and autocrossing. Recently, days go by without postings, although their archives remain useful.

we discussed it a few weeks ago here.. They are ball breakers. As a certain supportting racing vendor who post here and there was not allow to post his wins in the racing section. Not in the right section they said. People have left and vendors have left there. The picture in sig was 10 pixels to big and the have a fit. It's all but buried. Can't post an HPDE event in that section either so it kills everything.

Hey Bob 33, I do remember meeting you at Pheonix in Palm. Hope your car is doing great with those nice pieces you were having installed.

The performance orientation of this Forum is a big positive that keeps the BSers and petulant adolescent-types in check--it's pretty clear what works and what does not, who can perform, and who cannot. Informed people can disagree. Meeting each other at the track also helps. Jerks on the paddock are unpleasant, but dangerous on the track. Plus, jerks don't get expense-paid vacations to Big Pine Key Resort and access to the Resort's pitbabe overflow.
