Ten dollar rebate certificate on your next paint job. Just mail in the bill from the auto body shop. That whole system sucks. And the BACKWARD rotor :o

I'm running Porterfield R-4s, stop tech stainless steel lines, and motul 600 fluid. I've run my car on all 3 courses at Firebird Raceway, and Phoenix Int'l. While I consider myself a "hobby" racer, I surely don't have your track experience..this setup has worked well for me and I've dropped my plans to buy a "big brake" package from Stop Tech/Brembo..etc...

Just ask anyone who has tried to get the brake dust off of their cars after running the Hawk Blues.

Curious have you noticed any difference in the rotor that goes in reverse? Is it more heat checked that the other side? I put on two rights on mine car once by stupidity in the dark and it made a difference. If i works for you that's all that counts!

We haven't seen anything as yet from Hawk for the C6 Z06. We have Porterfield compounds as well as the Raybestos ST-43. Prices have come down a bit on those if you are interested. I will keep checking with Hawk and let you know when they will be available for all those interested in that.

Correction, not now, but very soon. I could not get a definite date, but certainly by the beginning of the year.

The big question...in my mind...is if the pad situation were resolved, and were reasonable, do the C6 Z06 brakes make a good package?

Its impossible to beat the price for a 4 corner solution but the consumables seem to be the problem.
