You will losemore weight by removing the glass. What's the point? Are you building a "RACE" car?
I race at 3020 lbs. The Shelbys race at 2500lbs. Terry Gough and Bruce Leven race at the class (Corvette) limit of 2750 lbs. However the Cobras race at 2000 lbs (with similar horsepower). I run 1:58 laps at Sears Point. Only one or two Shelbys are faster (GT350-Rs) Terry is faster (1:52's) as is Don Lee's Cobra, and Larry Bowman's Cobra. Bruce Leven and John Morton (Tiger) run 1:56s or so, so what's the point. Unless you are building a "RACE" car, for money, (in my opinion) you're wasting your time stripping the interior. Spend the money on a driver's school.

sure is nice when lined up Rugs and seat are gone. I got about 110 lb. out of the car. There is a sticky by leafeye that has all the weights listed.
