SonnyinVA needs our prayers
My good friend and fellow CF member Sonny Parks (SonnyinVA) needs our prayers. Sonny was involved in a motorcycle accident late last night. He's in ICU right now on life support with brain injuries.

For those that dont know Sonny has a C4 with a 383 stoker in and does the Maxton Mile.

Oh my! What a fine individual.
After all those speed events he participated in at Maxon, then to get hurt on a motorcyle!
He's in my thoughts.

There is favorable news from GB Vette as of 15:21 today
Sonny is showing signs of improvement.
They took him off the ventilator about three hours ago and at this time he is breathing on his own.
He has a skull fracture on the left side with swelling and bleeding of the brain.
He is still not responding to anyone.
Keep those prayers coming

Sonny has opened his eyes and recognized his gf Lisa. Very Good Sign

Tell him not to give up, I am recovering from brain cancer surgery and doing very well.
Our prayers are with Sonny and for a speedy recovery.
The calls, cards and visits from my extended Corvette Family meant a lot to me and really helped my recovery.
All you folks in the area need to make an effort to get to the hospital and offer Sonny all the encouragement you an provide him

I don't know Sonny, but do know some of the folks that have posted here and a friend of theirs is a friend of mine and we'll light a candle for Sonny tonight.
