Default VIR Full April 23-24 w/ Audi Ches.: anybody going?

I was interested in the April 23-24 VIR date with the Audi Chesapeake /Potomac club, is anyone else coming?

? Anybody have any feed back on this particular club? (looking for a well-run, safe event)

Been going and instructing with this group for years. Great group of ppl.

Last time we were there in spring, there were 22+/- corvettes, 24 BMWs, 20 Porsches and 20 some Audies, plus a host of other cars.

Ok!! I wanted a warm-up for July and this looks like a good opportunity, as long as the weather holds.

Thanks, Ill keep that in mind. Part of the enjoyment is weather related. I was considering the Chin or NCM July event until Mark B told its hot as heck at that time.

I've been kind of slow getting things together back in the states, but I'm going to make it out there some time this summer

Sign-up was much different 20 years ago.

I'll be going, have done the PCC/Audi events since they started. Very well run as many can tell you, of course I'm biased, my son and Marc Nguyen (current pres/eventmaster) founded the Potomac region.

I modeled the NCM events on the way this club has done theirs

Good, hope to see you there. I signed up Friday night, not sure if I got in, but last update was that registration was open and nothing was full yet.

Do you know of any good Corvette shops in that area (Danville)? Not that it will or should, but in case anything goes wrong with the car on track, I would like to know in advance where there is a good place to get mechanical problems fixed. I don't trailer and I have a long drive back.
