Default CAM and Head Package info needed

Looking to step it up a bit and need some help in determining the best cam and head application to put in my 01 Z06. The car is a street/track car so I need something that will be durable for road racing. I'm not so worried about making the big hrsp as I am getting torque and power through the whole powerband. It will have to stand up to high heat and high RPMS at long periods of times so any help would be greatly appreciated.

no head or cam combo will do anything about the heat issues, you need coolers if you are going to punish it.

Scotty

I would look at putting in the oil cooler / accusump and a trans cooler. These will keep the heat down.

Beyond that There are many Heads and cam combos to make your head spin.

I would use a PP LS6 with a mild cam 228/228 565/565 114 lsa. Still streetable and should pass VA inspections.
