How would Handling work with 18 in the rear
On a C6, if I run 18 front and back would the Active Handling be adversely affected?

Corvettes handle better with the same size wheel on all four corners.
the Corvette engineers only put the stagered wheel sizes, 17 & 18, or 18 & 19 for cosmetic reasons only, not performance.
On C5s ppl run 17s ( T1 guys) or 18s all around. On the C6 18s all around is the best option for performance and cost.
Just what the rear wheel diameter slightly bigger then the front on the C6. Or you can do the same size diameter and turn the AH/TC off.
Dont believe the guys in the General sections that mandate a 1" diameter difference.
Good Luck and have fun out there

Now to find the right 18s wheel size and tire size.
I'm guessing that the following would work for a C6 so I can keep Competition Mode on from time to time;
F 18x10 & 275/35 18 RA1
R 18x11 & 305/35 18 RA1
What do you think?

Tom,
Would these work on all four corners on a C5? 295/660-18 Hoosier GT
Can't decied whether to go 17" all the way around or 18" I would use
C5/Z06 rears all around.
Thanks for the knowledge
Tim

The Hoosier GT ( Or Grand AM Spec GT ) would work. The Hoosier Grand AM spec and VRL ( Viper Racing League ) tires work very well. They are a slightly harder compound the the RS05s and have a stiffer sidewall. Or so this what the Hoosier ppl tell me.
Seems to be there are slightly more 18" tires then 17" tires on the market especially when you look for scrubbs.
