Default Taking C5 in for alignment

I'm taking my '99 coupe "track car" in for alignment after lowering it some. I will be doing road racing and HPDE in this car so I want a more agressive setup than stock.

I searched threads for alignment specs and didn't find any solid recommendations so I'm asking for your opinions.

I don't know what stock Z06 specs are but I was thinking of telling the shop to go with that or I found these specs on Vette Brakes & Products website:

Advanced Street
FRONT
Toe 0" to 1/32" in
Camber 1/4* neg
Caster 6-7* pos

REAR
Toe 1/16" in
Camber 1/2* neg

TRACK
FRONT
Toe 1/8" out - 1/32" in
Camber 1/2* neg
Caster 4-6* pos

REAR
Toe 1/8"-1/4" in
Camber 3/4* - 2* neg

(note: These specs are symmetrical. For example, when we recommend 1/8" toe in, that indicates 1/16" on each front wheet for a total of 1/8" total toe.)

I'll admit I don't understand how all the toe, camber, and caster affect the handling. I bet I'll be learning though.....

What do y'all think?
For the time being I'll be driving this car to and from the events so I'll have quite a bit of highway miles. I don't want to wear my tires too much from the highway driving. Eventually I'll be able to trailer it.

I'm just a beginner at HPDE so the stock Vette will do more than I can do. I want better handling, though.

Thanks for the input.

TRACK
FRONT
Toe 1/8" out - 1/32" in
Camber 1/2* neg
Caster 4-6* pos

REAR
Toe 1/8"-1/4" in
Camber 3/4* - 2* neg

Track

Front:
Camber -2* ( negative 2 degrees not -1/2*)
Caster max but equal on both sides
Toe 1/16" out Max to O ( zero ) toe - Never toe in

Rear
Camber -1* ( 1/2 of front )
Toe 1/8" Max IN more like 1/16" in

Car will handle much better with these.

Do not use TOTALs each side must be EXACT.

Now for a beginner:

Front
Camber -1*
Caster MAX but equal
Toe 1/16" out

Rear
Camber -1/2*
toe 1/16" IN

What type of tires are you running??? That is the biggest thing when setting up a car. Race tires love camber!!! We run toe-in up front, please lets not start a debate, try it with the stop watch.

Listen to AU N EGL, he knows.

Toe kills tires much faster than camber so just go easy on the toe, or make some marks on your tie rod and switch it back and forth for track/street, that's what many do. You'll love the turn-in that the front toe gives you. Don't go to zero or in, you'll hate it other than the straights.

As a note, I run -2.3* / 1/16" out in front, and -1.5* / 1/16" in in back AND LOVE IT. Tires and alignment are the two most amazing things you can do for handling. I couldn't believe the difference. I probably put in 5k street miles per year, and then drive to and from events on my street tires and they are holding up well. I won't get 50k out of 'em but oh well

I'm running Michellin Pilot Sports (stock C5 sizes) right now.
The tires are new so I will be running them until they wear out.

I really appreciate the advice. Like I said I don't understand this stuff yet.

So this would be 1/16" toe in each side???
Want to make sure I tell them the right thing.
