That would be a great idea for a post NASCAR race event. All of those RV's sitting in the infield would make for one heck of a race...YEEHAW!

Speed needs to get its act together. Don't get me wrong, I like Pinks, but not hours of it at one time. If (and that is a BIG if)they have any programming I like, it is usually in the middle of the night. I know that's why we have recorders are for. But for me, they have very little content on a regular basis that I enjoy. Am I alone, or does Speed need to do a survey.

If you go look at some of the forums on the SpeedTV.com site, there are very few people who agree with what is being broadcast now on SPEED.
But, because they continue to show old, OLD reruns of shows like Unique Whips, Pinks, Tuner Challenge, NOPI, and Superbikers , there must be a programming director somewhere who sees $$$ from those shows. For the life of me, I can't believe that there are people who still enjoy watching a rerun of Pinks or Elmer Fudd of Whips from 2 years ago for the 98th time!
When a decision is made at SPEED to only show very few episodes of the Monterey Historics, Victory by Design, or the SCCA Runoffs, (many times very late at night) yet still continue to show episodes of some of the worst automotive programming imaginable during primetime, then there must be a nut at the wheel at SPEED.
I don't mind that 50% of the programming has to do with NASCAR, but they need to find a good balance of other programming as well. Maybe what they need to do is split the SPEED Channel like ESPN did years ago with ESPN2 and dedicate one channel to Nascar along with the other rerun cr@p, and reserve the good stuff like WRC, Goodwood, Monterey, Victory by Design, etc. for SPEED2.
$100 says that SPEED1 goes under in 6 months and SPEED2 increases viewership!
