Predictive quotes:

1. "The driver's not very smooth"
2. "The driver wasn't on the right line"

Wow, that's one cool video. Shame the video was so dark, you lost a fair cue as to the speed he's travelling.

One thing I did wonder was his use of curbing. The first half of the lap he didn't touch it at all; then later into the run he's on the curbs a fair amount. Is that due to the line on the 'ring, did he start pushing a bit harder than nominal, or did his tires heat up and lose grip?

Thanks for sharing, and have a good one,
Mike

It uses an AMG Mercedes V12. He was on Pirelli street tires. He is a Ring specialist:http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate...s&fr=yfp-t-501
Looking forward to reading the driver critiques as well.

I believe that engine has been around for ever and is a 7.3 n/a engine.

Makes you wonder what would happen if they simply used the twin turbo version in the SL65???

Bringing out Nissan fans on the Corvette Forum. Does that make me some sort of "reverse troll?"
