Default weight of after market wheels

Was wondering if any one knew the weight of the wheels [z06 type or spoke] from sarasota fla.or victorville calif.? Are they lighter than stock? what is the best size for track, width [easiest to fit slicks, econ.] stock 17" front + 18" rear, and what tire size would be best for c5 zo6 for road coarses. Pirrelli's better than kooks, hooser etc.? thanks

Kooks are headers. Cheaper repo wheels are usually made in China and are heavier. I don't know what wheels you are taking about.

Here is a hint: California and Florida have many many ports, from which they import things, from China and elsewhere. China doesn't make too many things better than the USA.

My repros are 29 lbs for the rear, and 25 for the front. That is heavy cheavy, but it doesn't keep me from smokin' 80-90% of the field.

The ZR1 style wheels from Sarasota are heavier than stock but until I can find a set of used CCWs that's what I run. CCWs are too much new for me to justify the cost just to take a chance on ruining them racing.

Gosh I want a set of CCWs though!!! Great looking wheels.
