Pfadt Racing Offers $400,000 in NASA contingency awards
Pfadt Race Engineering is pleased to announce our contingency reward program with The National Auto Sport Association. For the 2008 racing season Pfadt Racing will offer over $400,000 in available rewards in the form of Pfadt Cash at all NASA Regional Events. The NASA website formally announced the program today! Go to www.nasaproracing.com
At the 2007 NASA National Event, almost every Corvette on the podium was running Pfadt suspension components, including National ST-1 Champ Danny Popp. We decided that for the 2008 season we wanted to give something back by building a Corvette community around those racers. Through our contingency program we hope to highlight and reward the successes of our team members and promote the effectiveness of our products.
Here’s how it works.
First, go to the Pfadt website – www.PfadtRacing.com - and join the team. Membership has its benefits! For the $75 membership fee you’ll get:
• Instant $50 Pfadt Cash
• Team uniform shirt with logo
• T-shirt
• Pfadt Decal package
• Eligibility to participate in our NASA contingency program
Second, get out there and race! As a Pfadt Team member you’ll be eligible to earn Pfadt Cash in every NASA event you register for. We reward Racers, Time Trials, and HPDE participants.
• Be a member of the Pfadt Race team by joining at www.PfadtRacing.com
• List Pfadt Racing as your sponsor when you register
• Appropriately display the decals on your car and proudly wear your team jersey during the NASA event weekend
• Just for signing up and scoring points you’ll receive $25 Pfadt Cash
• Podium earnings are higher:
Regional Race
5 Starter Minimum
1st Place $100PC
2nd Place $50 PC
3rd Place $25 PC
Regional Race
3 Starter Minimum
1st Place $50 PC
HPDE Participants
Complete 4 HPDE Sessions during the weekend - $25 PC
Third, after your race weekend, submit your contingency request form to us and we’ll track your earnings. Pfadt Cash can be used to purchase any items on our site.
Start planning your trip out to Utah for the NASA event at Miller Motorsports Park, June 13-15. We’re supporting this event with give aways, raffles, and hospitality for all Corvette racers. We’re not much into meetings, but this will be our first annual Pfadt Race Team get-together. Don’t miss out!

Two thumbs up Aaron .......Nice contigency for us Corvette guys. Typically because we choose to drive a REAL car, we are not eligible for alot of contigencies.
One thing though, what about Time Trial ???? Is that also considered a race ??? I hope the TT guys are not left out. TT is not cheap to be Nationally competitive, and I know there are already people out there using your stuff.
At any rate this is great news !!!!

That's simply awesome the program and marketing strategy you guys are implementing
If i was a better driver and had more time to get out there and race I would sign up. In the meantime I have lots of future planning to do, money to save up and practice to cover.
BTW Josh forgot to send me more than 1 PFADT Decal when i ordered the control arm bushings and I ended up loosing it Send me a couple Don't worry the car looks stock, not pink or anything to be embarrassed about having your name on it.

It's for everyone who runs with NASA. We are treating TT like wheel to wheel. Podium finishers will be eligible depending on the number of competitors in the class. All entrants are eligible for the $25.
TT is one of the things that makes NASA great. It is definitely the gateway drug to wheel to wheel. It also is a great place for people who do not want a dedicated race car but have a competitive streak.

Aaron,
This is a great program. Glad the TT is included and many thanks for a Utah company stepping up. My wife and I have done TT's in the past and now we have incentive to do more. I wish NASA had more events closer to us.

Rod,
Sell your BSP car and let's turn your 01 Z into a race car. I know a good place locally for a roll cage and suspension.
Calif Speedway in March.

We're building quite a group of Corvette racers here in Utah. Traveling is always more fun with a gang. Between JR, Rick and I (and a few other local NASA devotees running cars other than Corvettes) there is sure to be a Utah presence at most regional NASA events.
The Miller race in June is going to be a big deal. Stay tuned for details on that.

Sweet! June can't come fast enough! I really missed not going to Miller last year.
Are you coming to PMP in March? I'm falling behind on my winter mods which include your coil overs and bushings, but I'm still hopeful!
See ya

So, you're going to join us, huh, Donna! You'll enjoy the devil out of these events. You'll be Time Trialing and W2W'ing before you know it!
