Weight Question

What is the weight of the carpet and sound deadening?

What does the average T1 car weigh?

T1 car 3560lbs minimum as it comes off the race track. car, driver, remaining fuel

carpet from a coupe ~ 60 lbs from a Z06 ~ 35 lbs

Really? That seems like a lot.

What is a reasonable number to shoot for on a base C6?

Bone stock C6 with me in it is 3400.

seats and rugs are 110 lb. in mine

So, changing over to C6Z06 carpet saves 25 lbs? Perhaps it's the carpet pad/insulation that is lighter?

electric seats weight a ton. I guess all the weight of the T1 car is in the cage. Isn't the weight of say an 02 Z about 3150 + driver? I would imagine with no carpet, fiberglass seats, open exhuast, remove AC, sub 3000lb should be attainable?

C5 T1 car is 3280 after the race with driver.

Mine is about 3340 with me and 1/4 tank of gas in it, so I'm a little heavy yet. No idea about carpet/sound deadening weight.
