Sterling Raceway in Sterling MA ?
Any of you New Yorkers / New Englanders ever hear of this one?
"Sterling Raceway is a multipurpose motorsports facility located on the site of the (former) Sterling Municipal Airport in Sterling, MA. The racetrack is located conveniently off Interstate 190, mere minutes from Worcester, the second largest city in New England. The facility features a 1.41 mile (2275m) long, 8 turn road course and an IHRA approved 1/4 mile drag strip at an elevation of 460 feet (140m) above sea level."

The forum, "My Tracks", is for people to submit their own track designs for review & discussion.
Sterling Airport brings back many memories for me. I grew up in an adjacent town, Clinton Ma., and one of my Dad's WWII buddies had a Steerman at the airport. I was 9 yrs old and I got my first airplane ride in that thing. I thought I was Errol Flynn in "Dawn Patrol"

Does the State of Mass like anything that I like (guns, cars, democracy)? I read the post on the ten-tenths website and there is only one correction: LRP is in CT, not MA, not that it matters anymore.

Hey Gary, I live in Taxachusetts, home of Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy, Barney "two buns" Frank, John "Ketchup boy" Kerry, Gov. "Devil" Patrick, and many other liberal a**holes. So be nice, I've gotta live here and maintain my conservative nature. So gimme a "brake".
I wish the old Thompson, Conn. track was still open, now there's some history.
