Either way, the fact that katech is stamped all over everything makes it out of my budget...
I saw that motor at sebring btw... I was also fortunate enough to be there when they started up the C6R thats in the background...

it says, took it off my cellphone.. don't really have a way of getting it off right now but
2007 Corvette LS7.R Engine GT1 Class
Displacement: 7.0 Liters (427 Cubic Inches)
Horsepower: 560hp @ 5200rpm
Torque: 625 IB-ft@4000rpm
Two 30.9mm diameter air restrictors
Fuel : 98-octane unleaded gasoline
Bore diameter: 206.3mm (hard to read off my cellphone)
Stroke: 98.4mm (hard to read off my cellphone)
Crankshaftstroke: 98.425 mm (hard to read off my cellphone)
"V' angle: 90 degrees
Valvetrain: Pushrod with overhead valves
I marked off what I couldn't read off my cellphone so well. Like I said they had the specs at Daytona(nobody really was anywhere near the engine for some odd reason) but at Sebring they left it out

Here is what I know....
The font is C5 font vs. the C6 font that is on the valve covers....Also, this engine may fool the untrained eye.....
You will notice on the actual C6.R that the spark plug wires are in a different arrangement than the photo that you took.
Also, this engine has been on the circut for many years.....

It is a mis-labeled C5-R engine. I think there was some reasoning behind it. That display engine has been around since at least 2005. At the time it was made the LS7.R was so ultra top secret that they didn't want anybody to know anything about it. Now the LS7.R has been photographed for a few years and the basic outward appearance isn't so secret anymore. For some reason that display engine just stuck the way it is. Maybe there is no display LS7.R in the booth because scrap engines for display are so hard to come by (i.e. there are no Katech engine failures ) and the intake manifolds are so expensive.
