Default ProFox racing suit

Anyone heard anyting about these suits? 3 layer sfi 5 rated suit for $299. Seams really cheap, but maybe good enough for some one doing 5-8 Track days a year?

Dont buy a cheap or less expeive suit. You will cook inside the suite with only 90 degree weather.

90 degree days can mean 120-130* in the cockpit.

and some of the inexpensive suits just dont fit very well.

OK, Pro Fox is out. I've been looking at a couple of other suits. A Simpson Sportsman Elite 2 layer SF5, and a Sparco Sprint 6 2 layer SF5.
I know these aren't the best, but I can't spend the 1K for the better suits. Of the 2 above, which would you recommend?

I have a Sparco Fashion. No longer made, but it is like the Sprint 2 layer. It is Black with a white top front.

It fits well, ( except I have a fat neck so I ad to move the velcurl on the neck band ) It is hot when its hot out side, and I also use a cool suit ( man is that nice)

If or when I get a second suite or what ever I have looked at and like the Impact suits. Custom made for the same price.

I wont get a black or dark blue suit again. Stick with light colors, silvers, light gray or white.

I hava a Simpson 3 layer which I have had for............um, rather a long time. I recently had occasion to purchase a new, in the bag 3 layer Momo Corse' suit for $250 from a forum member. I thought that was a good deal, and now I don't have to put on a wet driver's suit after practice. There are good deals out there, you just have to recognize them.
