If you're attending and would like to stay at the track, I found some information two weeks ago while at VIR for another event.
There is a local there that has a 26" RV trailer that will bring it out to the paddock for you to stay in for $100/night.
It has a queen bed in the rear and 2 other bunks, maybe more. Also has M/W, oven, stove, AC and your own private toilet...shower not mentioned. Call him for all the details...not me.
You or four buddys could rent this for $25@ per night and stay right in the paddock. Save gas driving to Danville or the hotels.

There are showers at the track. I bring an RV there all the time. Or I stay in the Suburban Inn. Chevy Suburban that is.

Camp as in CAMPING with a Tent in the Camp ground area, south of the pond, NO. Staying in a motor home or trailer is not a problem IIRC.

Why is a tent a problem? No difference in security or liability.

Definition of terms. RV is not Camping. I think an RV is charged $50 by VIR as well.

I'll be taking our RV (F250 Truck Camper) to this event - sure makes it convenient to stay at the Paddock.
