Default In-Car Footage Of The Holinger Sequential [VIDEO]

I'm still waiting for a cable that's on back order to tie my MoTec into the fixed car cams. I had a fellow Autobahn member ride shotgun and hold a camcorder himself. This was shot 2 weeks before Katech's track attack.

Sticking to my rule of never driving over the limit with a passenger (and because he was literally holding the camera) driving level here is between 7/10-8/10s. It was cold......each lap gets a little quicker as the tires get to temp. My personal best is a 1:26.xx. These runs are in the low 1:30s which is significantly slower, but you'll get the idea.

2 Professional Corvette drivers have beat my best time driving my same car, Andy Pilgrim and Brian Kubinski.....I can live with that.

The shifting has smoothed out with additional MoTec programming since this video.

Good stuff...nice car!

I admire a sequential shifter. Maybe one day I'll just make my car a dedicated track car. Thanks for sharing the video.

Thanks Wayne....I'll post more multi-view once the complete A/V system is operational.

Thanks for your providing such a comprehensive photographic documentation of the genesis of the Beast and now seeing it in action. It has been truly entertaining, inspiring and informative. Your efforts are appreciated. Best wishes for a great season.

Mike,
I haven't seen this one yet. I have to wait until I get home from work to view the video. I'm looking forward to that though!

I hope I get to hear it run in person some time. MCSCC runs at Autobahn twice a year. That's about my only opportunity to run the track. Thanks for sharing another fine video.

When are your trips to Autobahn this year?

Default Wow!

Mike
That beast just gets happier the faster you drive it. Very cool video. She's really going to like the long straits at VIR.

Hey Mike, its looks, sound and performance are amazing! I've also enjoyed the threads showing the progress of its build, etc. I bet you can't wait to come to VIR during the NCM event to stretch its legs on the full course - great configuration for high horsepower cars. You'll love it! Looking forward to seeing it up close and on the track. Enjoy! Mike

June 7th MCSCC is on the North circuit and October 4th we run the South course. They call it autocross, but it's really timetrials.

I would invite you to run, but everyone in A/Race (unlimited) would be mad at me if you showed up and destroyed our track record.

I'm familiar with that format.

What are the track records for your events?

OK... but you didn't get these from me...

North: 1:11.532
South: 1:36.319
Both are A/R (unlimited) class records as of last fall
Set by C5 427 ex Ron Adee One Lap Car

Standing start on cold tires.

Somehow I get the feeling I'm chumming for sharks.
