Charles Wicht won overall on Saturday in his winged, 14 inch wide tired
ex Kevin Harvick Sonoma winning South west Tour Monte Carlo.

Dave Machavern's Corvette lost a clutch in qualifying and DNS on sat.

On Sunday Machavern led wire to wire in his Riggins Engineering built Corvette. This is a Trans Am type car powered by an SB2 Cup type motor. Dave broke the V8 StockCar series track record in Qualifying. Wicht finished 2nd.

CTK's cousin Danny Foster won the V8 StockCar V8 SPO class on Saturday in his Coors Light/Outback Sprint Cup Dodge. Pretty good for a fella in his first year of road racing.

I had a second place in V8 SPO on Sunday in the Mo's Gold Monte Carlo behind former Nascar Dash Series Champ Larry Hoopaugh in his ex ARCA series Monte Carlo. I was running about 185 in the tri oval and Hoopaugh drove by on the outside like I was tied to a post. This was on the last lap.
