Default External Oil Cooler on C6t Z51

Perhaps someone has installed an external oil cooler (Earl's, Setrab, etc.) on a Z51-equipped C6, and by doing this has removed the oil cooling 'load' from the OEM radiator.

If so, my questions are:

(1) Is this a pretty straightforward installation?

(2) Can "adapters" be used on the OEM oil cooler lines to connect to the external cooler?

(3) What were your results?

Thanks!

Rob

Default Use a Z06 oil cooler

Oil cooler and shroud.
West Coast corvettes has it.
I need one too.
