Corvette Nicknames
I saw this was an old thread, but looks like there are a lot of new owners like me. So.... What do you call your Vette.
Looking for ideas for the 19 GS M7 in Red.
Sitting with some serious company. GT3RS, Bronco Raptor, and a few other GS Corvettes

I don't have a name for this one or my last one, but the C5 was called Sweetness. I had just bought a few days earlier and the wife and I were coming home and when I open the garage door as teh door went up AI saw this Torch Red Corvette just sitting there and I said "Sweet" so my wife said that is a good name Sweetness, and it stuck.

Truly! This trunk space (along with the manual), are the major things keeping me from going to a C8.

I call the car either Corvette or Vette, depending on who I am talking to. Not big into giving some name to a car.

Call it anything you want but it was, is and will always be inanimate. If you think otherwise, well...... I just refer to it as the Vette so the wife knows if I am talking about her Audi or the Truck. Same designation I gave the C4. When I am in the middle of a fix and if things aren't going well, whatever colorful words come to mind.

All our Vettes have names, the C4 is called Black Bitch, the white C7 is called McGarrett (the cool tough white guy from Hawaii Five O)
Our previous 2 Vettes - silver C5 called George (after Clooney) and the black C6 Z06 was Jack (as in Black Jack)
I don't know about the States, but in Aus we call people with red hair or things that are red 'Bluey'
