Default shock bushing source?

I bought a set of Penske shocks last month and they didn't come with shock bushings. My stock shocks are 20 years old, as are the bushings -

I'm interested in where to get TPR or hard rubber shock bushings , not poly, for C4 shock mounting (to try the Penske's out).

any advice is appreciated.
tia.

Do not make them too hard, it can damage the shocks. C4's are not as bad as C5 and C6 in this regard though. Vette Brakes has some poly ones, but they need to be modded slightly. Call me and I will let you know how. As far as OE style rubber, did you try NAPA?

Has anyone else tried mounting a Penske 8100 and found the rear shock mount is bigger than the eyelet?

Measured , it's 590 mils and the mount is 603 on my car.

Then the last problem is the width of the rear shock to mount is about an inch narrower than the stock Bilsteins.

What's anyone used to make up for the 1 inch difference in width?

Any ideas on this wil be appreciated.

-Gary if you stock something, I'll come up and buy tomorrow.

The eyelet is 15mm. On my C4 I just put the stud in a lathe (I have one) and took off the .013 for just the width of the eyelet. As for the width, that is a simple spacer. Again, nothing to it when you have a lathe. If you want me to do it, I can meet you in Exeter, NH today (where the lathe is)

thanks - I'm giving up on having the car ready tomorrow - 2 shocks are on - I think the shock mount shouldn't be changed when the Bilsteins will be back on the car in a year or 2.
I'll test it that way and see if the eyelet can be machined later.

Barbara,
If you want an extra set of the rear mounts (the ones that attache to the knuckle)
Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you my spare set.
I recently bought a set of FX3 shocks that had the mounts still attached.
