I can do lettering and logos etc in vinyl. Anything over about 24" wide has to be assembled in strips however.
The printed graphics/wraps look awesome, but you can spend more than your trailers worth if you aren't careful!
btw, your avatar continues to freak me out.........

You're tagging your trailer as a target with graphics telling everyone what's in it. If you don't keep it in a garage, leave it blank, IMHO.

My local Fast Signs did a Corvette Racing logo for me in red and black across the back of my trailer. Installed it for free.
If you have the logo any sign shop ought to be able to scan and print.

Look for my trailer about 1/4 of the way down. The local Fast signs is one of my sponsors. They make everything for my car, trailer and business. He can ship it to you. He has for several other forum members. Shoot me a PM if interested.

As much as I like graphics, the trailer might want to stay blank.
IMO mostly for DMV and state tax reasons.
Putting graphics lines or strips is OK and not a problem, but any NAMES could be taken 'as for profit' by DMV or the police. then there might be the need for CDL, log books, DOT numbers, fuel tax logging and stickers.

I put a large graphic on once, and it was a paint to remove. However, lettering and simple (even large) logos, pull right off.
AuNEgl is right about the DMV stuff however.....since there is no clear cut definition of a commercial trailer in most states, I've been told by DMV officers that they tend to stay away from plain trailers, yet graphics implying sponsorship may lead to weight checks, etc.
Of course, any trailer pulled by a vehicle with a commercial tag is required to stop at weigh stations. AND, at least in NC, DMV can pull anyone for anything if they feel like it.
I don't think a Jake, or a Corvette logo, is the same as have "Compuware" printed all over your hauler!

Got that right. We were out near the Albamar Sound last week. Saw the NC HP have a whole string or pick ups and SUVs hauling boats or RV trailers on the side of highway. Checking tags, lic, tire ratings on trailers, trailer widths, and all kinds of things.

What kind of vinyl is it and where did you get it? I have been looking for some reusable vinyl to make numbers with. I have a plotter and have been selling numbers to fellow corvetters in the Indiana area and at NCCC convention for the past couple of years. Alot of people have asked for a reusable number but any supplier I talk to has told me they don't have anything that would work.

I just found out about FDC and was going to go and talk to someone there since their plant is here in South Bend, IN and a shop up in Niles, MI.
Also does anybody know if Fast signs has the rights to make those decals? I thought you have to have permission from GM to do anything like that. If not, then I actually have a few files to make decals like that.
