Default fuel starvation issue @ Infineon

Any one else every have a fuel starvation issue with a C6? Mine is an '08 F55. Third time this year running Infineon with NASA and at the exact same spot I have experienced a number of 1/4 second fuel starvations at the same corner. Coming into this corner we are doing about 110 to 115 mph braking moderately heavy and raising in elevation very quickly. Just topping out and banking to the right, I exit slightly down and then go straight with a full throttle. While in second gear, I get an occasional starvation for a split moment well before I get to the lower section of the next corner. First happened this past weekend with a full tank of gas and then with 1/2 tank and finally with a 1/3 tank. Only happens at this corner. Any one else experience this?

What corner?
How are you sure its fuel pressure related?
You sure its not your active handling doing anything?

That would be my bet too - I get AH to kick in over T5 on Thunderhill with R6s in comp mode. Feels like loss of power.

I've run my C6 down to the low fuel warning at Thunderhill and not seen any starvation issues.

+1 on Active Handling. Have you run the course without driver's aides?

in a C5 yes I did. I was trying to be fuel light at the end of my race and it ended up beating me in the *** when I had 3 to go, moved up 4 positions, and then had to let them all back by with a lap and a half to go bc i just couldnt hold them off anymore :o With 3 to go (1/2 hour race) i started losing power coming out of 2, 3/3a, 6, 7, and 11. When I had 1 to go I went into reserve fuel and just cruised it home

and this is with all "driver aids" OFF

Without a fuel pressure gauge, it is impossible to diagnose.
I'm thinking Active handling too.

Where are you running 115mph? I race a 1963 Z06 and barely break 100mph on the back straight before turn 11?

I run up to about 120 MPH off the carousel and into T7 at Infineon. I am also +/- 120 between 10 and 11 and across the start/finish line.

c6 fuel system is MUCH better than the C5 setup. Great unless you forget to check your fuel gauge, cause in my experience the C6 will run the completely dry before giving any noticeable starvation.

I too would like to know which corner this is.......the explanation isn't clear. Sears Point certainly does have unique elevation issues, but only through the first half of the course.

I forgot to identify this is as corner 2.
I have been running my active handling in competitive mode. So I agree this is most likely what is putting me into stall mode.

Unless my speedometer is off, I do break 110 coming into this corner.

Dave, do you know what has been changed on the C6 fuel system to improve over the C5?
I have a '99 with the bottom loading tanks which is much nicer than having to drop the tanks, and everything to get to them, when something in there needs attention.

OP's description sounds like the entry to T2. Major pucker if done correctly (most folks lift or turn in too early at the bottom of the hill before heading up to T2), and certainly in the vicinity of those speeds. I've not experienced any fuel issues at Infineon in my '06. With 18's all around I run with AH and TC off to keep the computer happy, so neither have I experienced any nanny takeover at the top of the hill, but I think the AH diagnosis is likely . . .

T2 entry is up hill and then over the top and down into 3a so most likely AH as the
car goes light and rear end lifts at the top of the hill. My C5 used to do 106 thru
T1 but by the time I'm entering the T2 turn in point I'm going lots slower than that
even with brief brake input going up the slope. Also have to brake early so the car
is balanced before turn in or you are going to be pivoting on the left front, rather
than getting weight to shift back as you pick back up on the throttle. Not likely
fuel starvation.

thanks guys

I bet it is the competitive driving mode I have been in.
Have been having trouble decoding the tire pressure gauges when I swap out wheels for the track and some times can not get into the setting where everything is off.
