Default Marbles, dirt & bugs

What is the easy way to clean stuff off/out of the front of the radiator?
Cleaning from the front seems to push it in deeper. I hit 220* water and 280* oil in 30" sessions, Is that OK?
Thanks,
Chuck

Air from the back side is usually the best...make sure you don't bend the fins. You could use a hose as well after the air...just make sure the pressure isn't too much to bend the fins.

Also, if you can put a fine-mesh screen over the front of it, you can just remove the screen for cleaning and put it back on.

There's nothing wrong with your radiator. Those temperatures are pretty good. Many of us see higher temps in 30 minute sessions.

P.S.
30" means 30 seconds. 30' means 30 minutes.

At VIR last Thurs it was 96*. Coolant topped out at 221* and oil was getting close to 290* and that was with oil cooler. For that hot a day, and as hard as I was driving, I can live with that, even though I would like to see oil a little lower. If you take your fans out, do a search. I think DeWitts or DRM has a template to cut some of the plastic to get more air flow thru radiator. Every little bit helps, especially in the summer.

I thought 30" meant 30 inches and 30' meant 30 feet.
