VIR NASA TTS 1:59's...Congrats to Wally
Wally became the second TTS/ST2 car to join the sub-2:00 club today .....Congrats Wally !!!
Real close to the records there buddy in both TTS and ST2....Way to go !!!

Yes 59's are FAST for an ST2 car....I think this will be the norm soon with at least 3 cars that I know of capable, 2 of which have already done this. There maybe more. I really believe that they will be going faster than 59's REAL soon.
Development and evolution of these ST cars and the new records that will pursue are exciting.
I just wish that I could get my car out there early in the year when the track conditions are better than late July....

I agree with those statements and would not be surprised to see TTS lap records falling into the :57-58's in 2011. I fully expect the TTA lap records to go down into the 2:02-2:03's easily this year as well.

Edit to the above post......The TTA and soon to be PTA cars times recently have been real suprising.also...Hopefully the extra weight of those cages dont hurt their performance too much...Interested in seeing just how fast stockish cars can go !!
