There is no question that he is preparing for his defense for Lou's lawsuit. I think Doug realized that he needs to bring out the big guns.

If he is trying to prevent other Corvettes from racing on Michelins he's doing a very poor job of it. Lots of other Corvettes have raced on Michelins in recent years. For example:
