anyone running an 11.5" front wheel on a C6Z06/ZR1?
11" width tends to be the standard for the fronts and that might have a lot to do with it being the max SCCA allows, but I am wondering if an 11.5" will fit and fully turn with a 305 tire width? Heck, even a 12"? Or is 11" is the standard because it is the max?
Also, what offset or backspace are you running?

quick bump to see if anyone else has input. I saw a vid of a car in Australia that had 315s on the front but unfortunately it wasn't the owner that posted the vid so I couldn't find out what wheel that was. that would be big for an 11"... nonetheless, I am assuming he isn't the only guy running a 315 on the front

thanks for the info.
I called John at CCW last night and chatted for quite awhile, I ran his 3pc wheels on my crazy Porsche V8 914 and so forth. He is an wealth of knowledge for certain regarding Corvettes of course.
He let me know the max I can run without messing with inner fender stuff on a Z06/ZR1 is 11" but that I can certainly run 315s on that tire without any issue. He agreed a 12" would be better for the tire but just not doable on the car. Also filled me in on some funky stuff with the front hats on the ZR1/Carbon Edition that was news to me as well.
So I am thinking 11" fronts on the Vette, 12" on the Nova, then 13" on the rear for both. He recommended backspace values for all of those that help the front swap on the Nova so I can then have a couple sets of track tires for the Nova (if I flat spot the 315s on the 12" rims I could just use the Vette 11" with 315s with Vette offset and be "good enough" to finish my track day).
So just need to decide what wheel model I want and color, etc and go from there.

Further notes in case someone else has this question, searches, and finds this thread. It also supports the comment from bsalie99
A guy drove his ZR1 out to the track yesterday when I was out beating on the new car and even tho' he didn't actually track the car (was there to instruct another person in his car) he drove it out on the streets and highways on Hoosier DOTs. He had Forgelines that were 10.5 fronts and 12.5 rears with 315s and 345s and surprisingly to me, the 315 fit pretty well even on the 10.5, so that is just another piece of info I will use making my decision going forward.

The defacto standard among people I know who are running CCWs is 18x11 front and 18x13 rears. If you are like me you piece together what ever you can.

dammit, I wrote up a big detailed response for Forgeline wheels and the site hung up and lost it.
Short version this time - with ZR1 brakes and an 18" wheel from Forgeline, if you want a LIPPED wheel (like the GA3 or GZ3 which are the two I like) you can only run a 10.5" max width on the front, the inner barrel to make an 11" or greater steps down too deep and hits the ZR1 calipers. If I wanted a zero lip wheel or monoblock such as the GA1 I could run 11s or greater, but not with the 3pc "lipped" wheels.
JIC this thread helps someone in the future with the same questions I had
