Pfadt closed now what?
I was waiting for a set of their SA coilovers and now they're closed.
Who makes a good SA coilover? My car is all apart and ready.
Thanks for your input

There's a good deal on a rebuilt set in the c6 classifieds, but only pfadt can rebuild them again. I would go with gt2 if you want SA. I like the nonadjustable G2's, let the experts have everything setup for you and not mess with it.

LG Motorsports, MTI Racing and DRM come to mind. If you want doubles and triples, than Ohlins, Motion Control, Motons and Penskes are your choices too.

Im the guy selling the Pfadt SA's that were just rebuilt... They are truly a work of art to look at...
If you are interested, let me know.. they need a nut and a washer, which I am looking to find now...

If you are set on that specific coilover, that is really a good deal. Even though I wanted the LG G2, I got my featherlights used for a price too good to pass up, I have 2 seasons of open track driving and no issues. I figure when they need to be rebuilt, I would have probably got my money's worth and will go with LG.

Call Doug over at east coast supercharging. Ride tech is now making coil overs for the vettes. I got a set in my hands last week. The are made by fox and hyper coil, premium parts and backed by ride techs 1,000,000 warranty. At first glance and feel the appear to be far better quality than any others I've had. You will find some threads in the forced induction sections.

With that said, I would prefer an adjustable. When you say "let the experts have everything setup for you" in this case it is nothing more than a generic setup. Each car, track, driver, and a million other variables change what settings work best. I personally thought the G2s were too "bouncy" for lack of a better word. I ended up in a completely different direction with a GTA car, but if I had kept the Vette as a track car, they were coming off for that very reason.
In all honesty, about 99% of the people I know who turn HPDE laps probably wouldn't ever even notice and they would be just fine. On the other hand, if you are part of that 1% or you are working for every tenth, I would go for the adjustables without question and tune them for YOUR driving style, your tracks, and your car as opposed to getting a set with a base tune and calling it a day.

I love my Pfadt SA Featherlights. Easy to adjust the height and dampening. I did have issues with my first set on the car, and Pfadt replaced all of them and I even got them with shorter springs installed. If something were to happen to these....I think I'll go Penske.
