I went both this year and last year. What a great event!
Overall, I'd say attendance for the dinner was easily 2x last year's and attendance for the Saturday event was also probably 2x larger, despite heavy rain in the AM.
Ed Welburn is a very inspirational dude. I won't do justice to his story in this space, google him to know how special it was to have him at the event. He drove his Z06 to the event [and I'm glad I didn't blitz around him as I followed him for the last mile or so to the event, he was going a little slow, probably unsure of the route.]
Doug & Tommy were as entertaining as ever. I don't know what we'll do when Corvette racing has a bad year... 2015 was all about the Lemans win, 2016 had the Daytona 1-2, the 100th win for the program, and the overall series wins (driver, constructor, etc.)
Another new add this year was Richard Prince joining the conversation. He's been the photographer for Corvette Racing from the beginning.

National Corvette Museum also sent representatives to run a table with some clothing, and a Corvette auction [Hint - It'd be great if NCM became an authorized reseller of the full Corvette Racing Team offerings...]
