I know of a c2 thats being built right now, that probably isn't the one your talking about that's gonna be pretty badass as well. Being built by someone not in the know for Corvettes but is a good chassis builder that knows how to make a car handle and can drive with the best of them. I believe it's making its internet debut this week and I'll update the post once it does.
The world will know soon enough (sometime this summer is the target, I believe) about the car I'm thinking of. And the internet will go crazy. Let's just say there's some "special motivation" for the car, and based on what little I do know, money is not being spared anywhere. I highly doubt anyone else is going to go as far with the build as this car. The individual involved is well known here and within the OUSCI circle, so the results will not be a surprise to anyone.

I know exactly what car, who's building it and the "special motivation" you are talking about. I think a lot of people know about the car, but like I said no pictures have been leaked so it's all just hearsay. I think it's a cool thing being done and the car will be fast for sure.

I hope the debut is sooner than later (summer) - very curious here.

I think i figured out the shop/builder, but my crack google detective skills stopped there.

I can tell you I've seen pictures of it in process, so it's not hearsay.

I'm waiting for parts and to get my car back. Hopefully, I'll get it back before the event. It never fails, I'll probably get it back at the last minute and the last minute probably will be 5:59PM that Friday.

My dash is about 98.6% complete. Should be done today. Looks like that I won't have any legitimate or even a bull stuff excuse for not going now to San Diego. Even the weather looks fantastic for the CAM weekend.

I might as well go and hang with the Kool CAM people.

Default new car?

I was in Sevierville TN this weekend and caught the end of the Corvette Expo.

I believe this is a new car for/by Joe Gregory? At least I hadn't seen it before anyway. I have a few more pics if interested.

I was impressed it had air and working wipers, which my car does not!

Oh man, I killed the thread. On a serious note, now that the Viper ACR can run the Kumhos in SS shouldn't the Cammers be able to run them too?

Not necessarily. The CAM committee is separate from the Solo Events Board (SEB). That means what the SEB does with the non-CAM categories it has no effect on the CAM category. We will have to wait until the CAM Gods say it is ok and that may or may not occur and if it does occur, it more than likely will be next year.
