the easiest way is to take out the seat and open the soft top lid. That way you can lay down on the floor with your feet (socks only) up on top of the soft top shelf. Looking straight up you should see a semi circle of nuts that hold the instrument cluster to the dash. You need to take all of them off.
Sorry, this is the best photo I can find, but at the top you can see the ledge that the cluster sits on and there is a series of holes on this ledge or shelf that the studs poke through for the nuts and washers.
It isnt a very comfortable position to work especially if you are tall and weight challenged.....

This shot is slightly close up than Herb's -- the white spots along the 'ledge' are the 5 bolts that hold the cluster to the dash...one of the bolts is quite difficult to get to let alone see. My car was missing that bolt and I didn't even try to replace it.
