Beautiful Young Lady
Car '52,'53 Mercury/Ford. Lady around 1930-35 vintage. That could be a safety add as Ford introduced the seat belts in '56 along with the deep dish steering wheel as I recall. Memory is 70YO so don't bet the farm.

My friend Buzzy, at one time was in charge of the show displays for General Motors. Part of this job was to drive the displays to the various cities across the US. Oddly enough, a while back Buzzy and a few other friends visited another friend, Mike Spitzer at Spitzer enterprises in Indy... (google nifty fifty)
I was telling Buzzy about the display video on Youtube and Buzzy whips out of his wallet, this picture of the display truck.. Now why is this so neat? Because he drove around the small block cut away Corvette that hit You Tube a while back.. and two... I'm still floored he would have two pictures of the trucks in his wallet.
He’s promised to look for color slides of this and the displayed cars if possible. I have one more picture of a different truck as soon as I can find it.
A customer of ours bought this 65 when he was a Senior in High School. (1970)
Same car 1971
Same car... after we restored it last year... only this time his son is driving it.
Then here's one from the old dealership days I thought you guys would enjoy. 1976..

I've always wondered what drew me into the fascination of cars.
My mother opened up the old photo albums last Christmas and I scanned this one of me when I was six.
While the car is not a Corvette, it certainly has the lines of a mid-year.
Question answered.
This is a way kuhl thread!
